I have had a whole suitcase of clothes up in my loft that I have not sorted through since moving into my place in the summer. This must mean one of two things:
- Either the clothes in there are winter clothes
- I don't need those clothes (since I haven't worn them in a while)
Seeing as it's autumnal / winter weather at the time being, the second reason is why I haven't used those clothes yet. I decided to bring the suitcase down from the loft, sort through all the clothes, and also organise all of the clothes in my wardrobe accordingly to ensure that I only have items of clothing that I wear or 'use'. First of all, this meant doing a whole load of washing....
After the clothes were dried, I then undertook the task of sorting through the items:
Whist doing this exercise, I folded clothes into categories of t-shirts, shirts, trousers and jumpers. This helped to speed up the process and creating a sorting system for each of the items of clothing. I could also compare different items.
